@Craic'n Crabs As a visitor i would never pay a toll on that bridge . Learned many yrs ago how to avoid that congestion up that way.
@Craic'n Crabs I've got mixed feelings about that bridge. I own property in Carova that would likely increase in value if the bridge were built. But, I'm not in it for the money. I bought it because of the unique, remote location. Well, it feels remote because there's no bridge 😄
The mid-Currituck and Maple Swamp bridge total is estimated at nearly 7 miles. The Basnight bridge is only 2.8 miles. I know, apples and oranges, but that's a long bridge. I wonder where they will house the workers, Kitty Hawk? ;) I know, build them a floating campground.
