I am proud to say that both of my boys served this great county (one actually is still serving). Started my day checking Facebook and saw this incredible video of the USS Gerald Ford crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge head home after their very long deployment. That got me thinking of the days in 2020 when the carriers would have to quarantine for a few weeks before coming into Norfolk. We could see the USS Harry Truman from our top deck. Full disclaimer is that we could see the carrier, but I did zoom it so you could see it.
