I see that rt 12 north of Rodanthe is now closed from rain I guess.
@Tim-OBX We went thru shortly After the call to close it. Water was about a foot and our car was plowing! So Glad we left when we did and that we did not make any stops leaving Frisco!
Wonder if there's over wash at the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. That's the main hot spot now with the jug handle completed. @Tim-OBX looks like the rain will end for a few hours this evening and then more storms tonight thru tomorrow. Wow, I'd hate to be stuck on either side of the closure. They need to bring in pumps to empty Lake Mirlo.
