Love watching these equestrians. The horses were somewhat skittish today. Most days while doing my daily walk in Frisco, I get to see them.
To be fair most hoses are skittish around moving water because they have no idea of the depth. If you watch the first two they were both skittish but once they established it was not deep the calmed down and the 3rd just followed because they saw it was shallow. In all my years I have never ridden a horse on the beach but I I bet it is exhilarating. I remember years ago we watched a few riders run their hoses hard up the beach on the hard pack in the winter and it was like watching a horse race from the rail
@Alexy - You're right. Before the video, the gray was really agitated and the rider looked scared to death(maybe never ridden before) and I'm sure he could feel it. I think he was a gelding. The chestnut got them in line finally in the water. So pretty to see all three lining up for their walk. I'm sure she was the alpha!
