Sorry, not the water, the radio station. Not sure how many used to listen to 99.1 that are here but they went off the air a little more than a year ago. Well, huge shout out to Lisa Brickhouse, who spearheaded the return of this OBX iconic radio station. It’s back broadcasting and streaming on line. Honestly, I missed it more than I know. Their mix of music always has me in a good mood and thinking of warm breezes and cold beers on the beach They are also doing a fund raiser, Rock for Repairs, to keep things going on their website. Check it out, I’m definitely glad it’s back on the air.
Yes, it's good to have The Sound back on the air! They have the occasional glitch now and then as they're returning to full operation; I just flip to 98.1 The OBX when that happens. Somewhat similar playlist.
