Good Shelling Day in Frisco Despite High Winds

Found some nice stuff today in Frisco. No seaglass, but probably one of my fave and elusive shells, the Imperial Venus. It's very special to me. I keep them in a little MCM box in a bedroom here. The same kind of MCM box that one would find at the Gay Dolphin in Myrtle Beach with an inch of dust on them...kinda like the salt and pepper shakers that my son bought me in a nondescript area in Roanoke and I raved about it so much trying to be nice that he bought me another one the next year for the beach house. He smiles when he sees them on my tables... Nice crab shell, turkey wing and a a pretty partial sundial shell piece that I'll use to make a necklace. Beautiful Scallop shells and it seems as if their colors are great this year!

So, I am killin' time before the late sunset, and these are my silly, but fun to me, mid century modern shell boxes I use for special shells. Several pictured. One with the Imperial Venuses, and heart shell ones....
