I stepped out last night after seeing the moon shining through my blinds to shoot this. It was so quiet you could hear some fish jump. It's cool to see the lights in the distance of Hatteras Village, the buoys and occasional ferry coming and going from the ferry docks to Ocracoke. I never take any of this for granted.
