One way I got some flight time early in my career (early 80's) was flying sport parachute jumpers (skydiving). Bunch of crazy nuts!

I thought I'd bump this. People really don't know how good they are. Owned and run by Sven Jseppi and Heather McLay since they opened in 2011. Sven’s been skydiving since 2004 with over 18,500 jumps. He’s a World Canopy Piloting Champion (2022), holds multiple Canadian and international records in the sport, and has jumped on all seven continents. Last September he smashed the Guinness World Record for most tandem parachute jumps in 24 hours by an individual — 108 jumps in under 16 hours (previous record was 105). Heather’s no rookie either — around 700 jumps, six continents, and she’s been part of the operation and the record effort alongside Sven. They keep a strong focus on safety (USPA members) and give people that classic OBX view from altitude with zero experience needed.
