Opened up IG this morning and Daniel Pullen and Epic Shutter Photographers had reels of the leaning blue home being lost to the Atlantic about 9 hours ago. The winds and surf were wicked yesterday with this coastal low. So so sad.😢😢😢
@BentMtn And another red flag day today. If houses keep dropping, it will delay the sand pumping on the beach. Catch-22 situation - the debris has to be cleaned up first before they can pump sand

The Dare county tax records show the home (46000 Ocean Drive) was purchased by the current owner just one year ago. Transfer date: 2025-05-22 Sale price: $550,000 I wonder what their insurance payout will be.
@gfury I looked up the house on Dare GIS. It was falling into the ocean back then. What in the world were they thinking.
