I absolutely do not understand the interest in sharks any week of the year.
I seem to recall that they had some trouble with some content that wasn't real but was presented as a documentary. But my kids loved shark week.
@Craic'n Crabs - I am sure that some of it has to be hyped up. I always enjoyed it in the past when more local info was presented; re: the Avon attacks which scared me, but this line up shows a lot of out of the country info. My daughter still watches it just in case she has to warn us to stay out of the water....drama queen kinda like her Mom.
Sharks are fascinating creatures and top of the food chain predators. They do wild things everyday, but we only hear about them when a human is on the menu.
Used to love watching shark week, but now it's more sensationalized and less about the science. Haven't really watch it for a couple of years.
