Hi Everyone, long time lurker on the old forum.. Wife and I rented Stinson Ranch back in September. Cool place to stay. I'm an avid hobby photographer and loved every minute. We didn't leave the house often and if we did it was off the deck and into the sound. Couple of my favorite snaps.
Awesome photos! Especially like the first. You really should post them in the Photography category. I know on the old OBC photography didn't really take off. But we've had some great photos posted there. Welcome to the forum!

@TimmyDubV I think this is another small world. Is that house on Soundside Rd accessed just south of Jockey's Ridge? If so that house was built by my neighbors parents. Sold a long time ago.

@Craic'n Crabs It's a cool spot and a unique home for the Outer Banks. Slept like a baby while there. The original home was destroyed by hurricane in 2010 or 11 and rebuilt in 2013.
My wife was in contact with our neighbor. The home you stayed at was south of theirs. This was her parents' home.
@Craic'n Crabs That is Gary Dunstan's house. He is/was a builder here. I think he moved away for a time to Florida but returned. I recall when the original house was destroyed in 2011 from hurricane Ilene.
She didn't tell us that the original home was destroyed.All she said, was it was the blue one on the water north of the stinson ranch.
