Bill Hemmer, Co-Anchor of "America's Newsroom" vacations down here quite frequently. He often shows news clips of goings on here and when his father passed a couple of years ago, showed a short documentary of the fam down here and his parents walking down the beach. The other "celebs" I have heard of and I met and spoke to the guy on the beach last fall whom they stayed with in Brigand's Bay in 2021, are a pair of brothers that he joined on a guided duck hunting trip on the Pamlico hosted by his uncle who owns that "grandfathered in" duck blind on the Pamlico Sound; the style of blind that is not allowed to be made anymore. I caught his dog's Frisbee meant for the dog on the beach last fall and we struck up a convo. He shared pics with me of the duck hunt and it was so interesting as I had always heard tales of that duck blind. Let's just say, the secret service had a job in BB for three days as I do not want this narrative to become political. Y'all can read between the lines probably.....
I can’t believe that in all the time I’ve spent on the Banks (starting in 1968) plus my parents living in NH for 30 years I never caught a glimpse of AG anywhere! Bummer!
