Walking on "Sanddollar" island (sandbar), and only found one little piece of a Sanddollar. Did find a Channel whelk with critter at home and he's back in the water, but found an ol' man knobbed whelk and no one was at home. He's mine. Beautiful and HOTchacha day..... Sweet lab smiling in his boat!
One last one for the day and I'm hitting the sack. Too much walking today and the sweat running down on my face was stinging my eyes on the inlet walk so much so that I could barely see. Some of y'all may think it is funny and some not. Well, I did and had a good gut laugh (could not stop laughing and some of y'all have heard my laugh) when it popped into my punkin' head when I found this piece of corroded iron on the inlet encrusted in shells. And my Manteo friends on this trip did too.... (Litter in the trash bin now) Let's just say that I am a huge fan of Bill Murray, John Candy, and Dan Aykroyd. But, who is not a fan of them really....
