The ice cream man that road up and down Carova Beach? Old truck, with a freezer in the bed. His treats were about $1 or $2. This would have been up to late 2000s. His last summer he asked us to sign a petition asking for the County to let him keep selling. It was his only job. Selling ice cream all summer. Never saw him again. We loved buying his ice cream. Really nice guy.
