Im an occasional OBX surf fisherman. I fish the beaches of Brigantine NJ. Not alot of action in the surf yet but Striper will soon be on the move out of the back bay. Summer Flounder season opens on May 4th. We can keep 3 per day over 18". What is going on in the OBX surf?

Several of us were on Ramp 34 in Avon this past Monday, (4-13) and successful catching drum, bluefish and flounder. (I watched and served lunch while the guys fished!) All thrown back. Many fishermen on the beach were pulling them in. Avon had a nice drum beat that day finally!
