I found the attached 'flat" scallop in Avon on the latest beach trip. (March/April '26) This is only the 3rd one I have found in many years of beachcombing. I liked the peachy color. You can see how thin they are in my hand view I took. Previous two found were more maroon and yellow colored. I have attached a bit of info about them in the last two pics for you beachcombing enthusiasts. They are rare to find in Florida, but really rare up in our waters. Happy shelling!
