headed down the ICW to the Boat yard for repairs.

Some 70ft pleasure Yacht came flying up past my dock so close and so hard that it ripped both my starboard and port bow cleats out and tore the entire rub rail off the port side of the boat up against the dock. My neighbor saw the whole thing but couldn't see the boat name in time. Some people could really benefit in terms of personal development from a punch in the face. Ugh..well at least it was a nice day for a ride.

@Beach Farmer that sucks, but there's an abundance of stupid people with money. A long time friend put a trail camera on his first and last pilings and a sign letting everyone know that the cameras are there. It doesn't fix stupid, but it does get the careless damages paid for. Good to see you here again.

@Beach Farmer That's a shame. It would have been nice to find the boat and put some algae in the tank. Happy 4th.

Sorry this happened. I've seen a lot of jack asses on the ICW that have no business piloting a boat.

@Beach Farmer You always have good posts, but unfortunately, you have a bunch with bad endings. Shit happens.

That's awful and people need to own their mistakes. Good to see you back though.

@4Wheeler Lol, story of my Life 4 Wheeler...I'm insured so hopefully after some intense arguments with the adjuster I'll get it fixed. In the meantime the boat yard has some nice views and some of the same old salts hang'in around to shoot the shit with...

Couple pics at the boatyard including one of the damage. We'll get her fixed up.

@Beach Farmer that's where the cameras do their job. Send the the videos to the insurance. They will cover you and chase down the offender.
