Last I heard the flight restrictions on those things are going to be lifted late this year. With the restrictions in place they're not much use.
@Stumpy although sometimes they escort Marine One, the President can’t fly on them. Bad safety record.
Very cool! My son was on the carrier Carl Vinson. He was pulled from it early to set up the return to Coronado. They flew him to Guam on an Osprey.
Once in a lifetime experience. Great video.
The ospreys are cool to look at. I personally am not a fan we have a family friend that was severely injured in a Osprey crash.
