Does anyone know how to contact "Robert"? He was from NJ and used to contribute a lot to the original Outer Banks Connection, especially in the old days. Was a photographer and connoisseur of Taylor Ham/Pork Roll. Would like for him to have a shot at joining the new OBX Forum.
@W&M OBX We put a notice in the comments section of the now defunct OBC Facebook page that this site was created. Since then about 36 users have indicated that they found us from that post. But I don't think Robert is not among them.

I asked Jimmy Z who used to post daily pictures from his beach house to join. He got abused pretty badly by some posters on OBC so I’m not sure he’ll be chiming in. Don’t have contact for Robert.
@W&M OBX I remember Robert. As I recall, he was an avid photographer, and mentioned in his bio that he had been in the planning department of a certain county in New Jersey, and that he had gone to college at the University of Kentucky. I put that in Google AI and it came up with a name. Should I post it here or should I send you a PM?
@tgp Although I haven’t seen any rules that prohibits publicly naming people in the TOS of this board, I don’t think you should post anybody’s name without their permission.
Has anyone heard anything out of Ocean Blue, speaking of people that posted on the old OBC? I think he lives in "Rodanthththth." He was really funny and always had good posts, I thought.

I hated that happened to JimmyZ as I enjoyed his daily updates. I've no idea what comprised "moderation" on the OBC, so I don't know why the trash couldn't be taken out.
@Squid Pro Quo I'd be really surprised (happy, but surprised) if Jimmy came back. I've talk with him since he left and he was definitely done with OBC. It's a shame because he added a lot to the OBC. Of course, I was done with OBC as well, so hopefully other will give this place a chance as well.
I just updated webcams and it reminded me of an OBC member that used to fly in and out of Billy Mitchell. I think he was with the FAA and lived in Maryland. Can't remember his username.
