It was a beautiful Saturday so we decided to check out the Sound Side event site in Nags Head. Wow the view from the street can't capture the awesome work they did. The boardwalk is very wide with multiple comfortable places to relax. It takes you completely around the ropes course. This is picture is the area where you can actually get into the sound. The water is crystal clear and so sandy without any marsh. It's a must see. We will be making this a routine as we head south with the dogs. The day was complete with a great lunch at Bros in Nags Head. Edit - forgot to add a nice long time at Aviation skate and dog park in KDH. The place is huge, pretty much full shade, great big pond with fishing and turtles. and legit arboretum. There are fenced areas for your dogs to run and very clean restrooms.
Nice pictures. My kids have done the adventure park twice, great place for older or younger kids. Wide selection of heights/difficulty and the staff was great, although the last time we were there was 2023. Thanks for sharing, we will have to check out the boardwalk around the event site next time we are there.
We plan to go with our adult kids this summer to the ropes course. Can't beat the view!
