This is a video of the Pamlico Sound in Brigand's Bay/ Frisco on 10.19.25 at 7:15 am. A fisherman is coming back in crossing through the "field goal" posts (deepest water part that everyone uses there) cruising towards the canal back home. Nice pastel looking morn taken off of my back deck.

Have you been out this spring in the sound? Wondering how that channel has done over the winter. Last fall if you had something that drew more than 18" you had to enter or exit on the tides.
@4Wheeler - Gosh, thanks, 4wheeler! @Sassygirl- You're right; we all are blessed to see this. @Alexy- Haven't put the boat in yet and coming down this weekend and plan to put it in. Just glad Scotch Bonnet's ramp is fixed and back open. Miss Anita a couple of streets over in BB had been a lifesaver for a few of us when the other ramp was out. Yeah, saw a lot of people stuck on sand last fall and felt sorry for them. It was ankle deep in some spots pretty far out. Hoping the water is higher, deeper, etc!!
@BentMtn Not sure if you know Jill Letteri. She lives across the street from us and has a boat ramp too
18" of water? Sounds like it would be great for clamming.
@Greg - Probably so, Greg. We haven't tried in our immediate area, but my kids tried clamming in the Sound in Hatteras near a sandbar a few years ago and dug up a few while standing in two feet of water. They put them back. Pic I snapped who knows when of the shallow water on the Sound in Brigand's Bay area near the "goal posts" deeper area where most boaters exit and enter. I have seen boaters stop off at that exposed grassy area that shows itself from time to time and let their dogs roam around on it. So cute to see them jump out of the boat and mosey around....."walkin' on water."
