Howdy y'all! Great job on the new forum, Crabs. I still can't believe that the OBC wasn't backed up. So much good content was lost forever. Welp, onward we go with the new OBX Forum. I took a digital break when OBC crashed. I gotta say, I liked the break. Still do. Probably will remain that way. I enjoy reading the local beach posts, but I'm not a local. Chilly up here tonight, burning some wood and sipping a cold locally brewed Irish red beer. Slainte!

It's again chilly tonight. I'm guessing we're about a month behind NC wrt temperatures. Burning a bit of wood, it takes the chill off our evening and the radiant heat is so comfortable. I hope your night is as pleasant as ours.

@SassyGirl There's something primal about a fire. When it's a bitter cold morning and there's still some coals glowing, I just add some wood and it jumps back to life again. Makes my day every time.
